About Us

Julie Resendez has over 30 years experience working in public education. Her first role in education was  as a general education teacher. Shortly after becoming a general education teacher, she realized her passion for students with unique needs and became a resource teacher.  Julie has also spent many years in administration.  First as a vice principal overseeing site student services programs and then as a district administrator over school district special education and pupil services. Most recently, she held the position as a superintendent for a school district. Her various roles in education have developed a deep understanding of each level of the education system. Lastly, and most importantly, she is the parent of a child who needed special education services and understands the challenges and fears of navigating the school system.
